Overwhelmed...

I am feeling quite overwhelmed. Besides taking three classes this summer, I have been at a conference for three days. That conference was immediately followed by a week-long vacation with my husband's family. Trying to balance vacation with homework assignments was something that I struggled with. Now I am spending a few days with my family. Hopefully the balance works better once I get back to "normal"...whatever that is with a three-year-old at home... :)

  1. Neat colors for your blog. It is set up very nicely.

Good luck with your 3 classes. Take things one at a time. You will get it all done.

  2. I too understand where you are coming from. I hace a 3 year old and two other kids in the house taking 3 classes this summer. My husband is taking 2 courses and I try to guide him when he gets frustrated. We can do this-like Seth says one thing at a time. Good Luck

  3. We are all feeling that way at least a bit, I think. This class is way more work than I thought it would be! It is fun though.

  4. Hey Kate,
Curious as to what conference you were at lately. I just attended the NBEA conference two weeks ago and the M-PBEA conference last week. Maybe you were at one of these- both were great! Last week's was in the Black Hills of South Dakota so my family went along and we made a vacation out of it. We were all so glad to be back home (and exhausted) after five days of it. Now it's catch up time!!

  5. Kelly--I attended the NCE Conference in Kearney. It was pretty good--though I was a bit distracted with all the classwork. I have heard good things about the NBEA and M-PBEA conferences...glad to hear they were worthwhile!

  6. I can completely understand your feeling of being overwhelmed- I think summer classes are almost more difficult to keep up with than during the school year! It takes a lot of discipline to keep on track and manage your time. Especially when it's nice outside and there are fun events to attend! Good luck with your classes and I'm sure you'll feel great when you are finished with them!
